Memorial to the Liberators Soldiers Brest

The monument to the soldiers who liberated Brest is situated on Freedom Square in the historical center of the city. It honors the troops of the First Belorussian Front who freed the city from German occupation on July 28, 1944. The monument underwent major repairs in 2024 and is part of the city's system of memorials commemorating World War II. Each year, it hosts the City Day celebration marking the liberation of Brest Fortress.
