Afanasy Brestsky Monument

The monument to Afanasy Brestsky was installed in Brest on Masherov Avenue near the Holy-Simeon Cathedral. The sculpture created by Olesya Gurshchanka honors the revered martyr Afanasy Brestsky, regarded as the city's heavenly patron. The monument was unveiled in 2006 to commemorate his 360th death anniversary and is an important part of Brest's Orthodox tradition.
