Berestye Archaeological Museum

Archeological Museum "Berezha" is situated in Brest, on the grounds of memorial "Brest Fortress-Hero". It is directly above the excavations of an ancient settlement from the 11th to 14th centuries. Exhibition includes over 1200 artifacts made of metal, glass, wood, clay, bone and fabric. Visitors can see remains of ancient city Bereza explored by archaeologists between 1968 and 1981. Total area of open archaeological site is 1118 sq.m.
