Lamp Alley

The Lantern Alley is situated on Gogol Street in the center of Brest. Grandly opened on July 27, 2013, it features an array of wrought iron lanterns shaped as various thematic sculptural compositions. A distinctive feature is the lantern with the motif "Dead Souls". The alley's design incorporates references to works by Nikolay Gogol, harmoniously blending urban improvement with local literary themes. This spot has become part of the tourist route through the city center.
