Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex

Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex is located on the eponymous hill in Yerevan and was opened in 1967. It is dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. Thousands of people come here annually on April 24th for memorial ceremonies. The central elements of the complex are the Renewal of Armenia Monument, circular mausoleum, and eternal flame. This is one of the most important memorial sites in Armenia.
