Jermuk Mineral Geyser (Heart-Shaped Hot Spring)

The mineral geyser of Jermuk, known as the Heart-Shaped Hot Spring, is located in the forested area of the city's surroundings at an altitude of about 2200 meters above sea level. Every 2–7 minutes, a stream of gas and water with a temperature of 30–35 degrees, saturated with carbon dioxide and iron sulfates, bursts noisily from the ground, creating strong turbulence and the effect of a natural hydromassage. It is impossible to reach this place by a regular passenger car, as the path goes through boulders, deep fords, and steep clay slopes, and a cold mountain river flows a few meters from the geyser.
