Pristava Lake

Pristava Lake is situated in the historical resort area of Jermuk city. The pool was restored in the 1860s under instructions from the Russian administration and associated with police chief Gevorg Hanagyan's name. Originally, the lake was an historic pool built by Orbelyan princes of Syunik. Today it retains its status as a historical monument. The local name for the water body is Pristavi gyol.
