Haghartsin Monastery

Vayots Dzor Region, Arpa Gorge, near Gondewaz village

Gndevank Monastery is situated in the Arpa River gorge near Gndevaz village and Jermuk city. Known for its inscription referred to as "ring without a stone" for Vayots Dzor, it features the main church constructed by Princess Sophia Suni in the 10th century, porch, fortress walls, and medieval khachkars. This is an important historical and religious site in the region.
