Kechutskoe Reservoir

Kechutskoe Reservoir is situated near the city of Jeremuk and village of Kechut on the Arpa River. It plays a key role in the hydrographic system of Arpa - Sevan, maintaining water levels in Lake Sevan. Construction was completed in 1981; its total volume is approximately 22.5-23 million cubic meters. The shores of the reservoir serve as a recreation area and viewing point for tourists and residents of the resort.
