Arev ("Sun") William Saroyan's Stone

The stone "Arev" ("Sun"), associated with American Armenian writer William Saroyan, is kept in Jermuk Art Gallery. In 1978, the writer visited Jermuk and left an inscription on the stone; the word "arev" means "sun" in Armenian. This object became memorial due to Saroyan's meeting with local residents, as described in tourist guides. The stone is not situated in the natural environment of the waterfall but is inside the cultural space of the gallery.
