Central Library Named after Lazaros Agayan

Central Lazaro Agayan Library in Dilijan city - one of Armenia's oldest public libraries founded in 1908; it started its activities alongside local church-school but soon separated to become an independent entity. Its first librarian was teacher Ovanes Zakarjan. The library's collections include Armenian, Russian classics as well as world literature along with specialized works on philosophy, medicine, agriculture and other fields.
