Caspian Deer Breeding Centre

The center for breeding the caucasian elk is located in Dilijan National Park, Tavush region. Since 2018, efforts have been made to restore the population of elks brought from Iran. Enclosures are equipped with fences and feeding systems to help preserve the species listed in Armenia's Red Book. The center aims to breed animals for subsequent natural reintroduction into the wild of the country.
