Soviet Administrative Center Dilijan

The administrative center of Dilizhan is designed in mid-20th century modernist style. It includes buildings such as city hall, cultural palace, library, cinema, department store and communication center. The central element of the ensemble was Lenin monument. The center requires careful reconstruction while preserving the original modernist concept. Landscaping activities intensified after the city was granted resort status in 1958. Some structures have lost their initial purposes.
