Matosavank

Matosavank - ruins of a small monastic complex near Dilijan, located in the forested area of Dilijan National Park. The monastery includes a church, gavit and library built in the 13th century, but are now in ruined condition. Nearby is the Jukhtakavank monument, making them convenient for combined excursions. Construction of the church dates to 1205, as indicated by the construction inscription.
