Goshavank

Goshavank - an ancient monastic complex from the 12th to 13th centuries located near Gosh village close to Dilijan. It includes a renowned "embroidered" khachkar - one of the masterpieces of Armenian stone carving. The site is linked to the figure of medieval scholar and writer Mkhitar Gosh, author of the legal codex. The route to Goshavank passes through scenic forests and links attractions such as Parz and Gosh lakes, enhancing the appeal of the journey.
