Dilijan Composers' Creativity House

The Composers' Creativity House "Dilijan" is situated in the forested part of Dilijan city, built in 1963. Initially it was an eight-cottage complex serving as an important cultural hub for composers and musicians of the USSR. Notable figures such as Arama Hachaturyan, Dmitry Shostakovich, Mstislav Rostropovich, Martiros Saryan and Maya Plisetskaya worked and gathered there. Surrounded by mountain forests, it symbolizes the cultural significance of Dilijan during Soviet times.
