Saint Ripsime Church in Old Goris

The Church of Saint Ripsime in Old Goris is a single-nave basilica dated to 1776. The building is made from meticulously worked basalt, particularly evident in entrances, window frames and corner wall sections. On the northern side there are two annexed rooms, one of which previously served as storage. The structure has four windows on east-west walls and two windows on the southern wall. Officially, the site is recognized as the Church of Saint Ripsime specifically in Old Goris rather than in neighboring Old Khndzoresk.
