Goris Rock Amphitheater

The Rock Amphitheater of Goris is situated in the historical part of Old Goris, on the left bank of the Vararakn River. This place is a natural amphitheater made up of ravines and hills with numerous caves—both natural and man-made—which once served as dwellings. Views from its slopes include St. Ripsime Church and Melik's Chapel. Almost in the center of the ancient settlement stands the citadel of Dzagedzor.
