Gjumri Railway Station

Gjumri Railway Station is an operational transportation hub connecting the city with Yerevan, Tbilisi and other regions of Armenia and Turkey. The station building, constructed in the 1970s according to architect Rafael Yeghoyan’s design, combines features of Soviet modernism and elements of medieval Armenian architecture. The first railway connection to the region opened in 1899 between Gjumri and Tiflis.
