Abovyan Street

Abovyan Street in Gyumri is one of the most atmospheric old-Gyumri streets. It runs through the city's historical district and retains traditional black tufa architecture. The central part of the street has been transformed into a pedestrian zone where ancient buildings, cozy cafes and small shops coexist. There is also the famous Aslamazyan Sisters Gallery here. The total length of the street segment indicated in the project for improvement is approximately 0.62 km, starting from the intersection with Vahan Cheraz Street and ending on Terian Street.
