Saint Gregory the Enlightener Church

The Church of Saint Gregory the Enlightener is situated in Dzor tag district of Gyumri city. Built between 1870s-1880s from black tufa, it was restored after the devastating earthquake of 1988 due to donations from local residents. Locals refer to it as "Geghancats jam" ("farmer's church"). Today, the temple actively operates in the southern part of the city.
