Old Gyumri Market

Old Gyumri Marketplace is situated in the historical center of the city. For a long time it was abandoned but plans include its reconstruction with an international culinary school supported by a grant from the European Union. The new complex will unite educational institutions, shopping areas, restaurants and shops selling local artisans' products. Opening of the revamped market and school is expected in 2026.
