Vardanyan Square

Vardanyan Square in Gyumri is named after hero of Varanda Battle Vardan Mamikonyan and his comrades. It is the main square of the historical center of the city, where acquaintance with its attractions begins. There are Yot Verk Cathedral, Church of All-Healing Saint, town hall and monument to Vardan Mamikonyan. Architecture of the square combines elements of church, civil and memorial building, reflecting the diversity of urban culture.
