Victory Park Gyumri

Victory Park in Gyumri is situated near the Black Fortress — the city's main military monument. After the devastating earthquake in 1988, the area was used by locals as temporary housing and daily needs spot. In 2025, part of the park covering over 6,000 square meters began to be renovated with support from Armenia's government. The name reflects the Soviet tradition of creating memorial green zones in remembrance of victory in World War II.
