Mother Armenia Monument in Gyumri

Monument "Mother Armenia" is situated on a hill near Black Fortress in Gyumri. Opened in 1975 to commemorate victims of World War II. Survived after devastating earthquake in 1988. Height of sculpture - approximately 20 meters, pedestal - about 21 meters. From observation deck there is a picturesque panorama of the city and its surroundings.
