Gyumri State Puppet Theatre named after Stepan Alikhanyan

Gyumri State Puppet Theatre Named After Stepan Alihanyan - the first such institution in Armenia opened in 1935. Located on Abovyan Street, building 133/6. Here premiered performances "Monkey And Mirror" and "Revolutionary Tanya". Next year the theatre presented the production "Tsar Chach-Chach" under the direction of Varvar Aghamyan.
