Sergey Merkurov House-Museum

Sergey Merkurov's House-Museum is located in Gyumri on Akhtanak Avenue, 47. Opened in 1984 after reconstruction of the building damaged in the 1988 earthquake. Exhibition includes over 3,000 exhibits, including more than 300 death masks of famous personalities created by Merkurov. A unique feature of the museum is the unique Lenin mask. The house building was constructed by the sculptor's ancestors in 1869.
