Surb Nshan Church in Kecharishvili

Surb Nshan Church in Kechariz Monastery situated in Tsakhkadzor is a medieval structure from the 11th century featuring a unique centric cross-shaped design without vaults. The temple was restored in 1223 and complements the ensemble of Surb Grigor's main church. The church's name translates to "Holy Emblem". Between Surb Grigor and Surb Nshan there remain carved khachkars on the eastern wall of former burial chapels.
