Церковь Сурб Григор в Кечарисе

Surb Grigor Church in Kecharise - the main shrine of the monastery dedicated to Saint Gregory the Enlightener. Built in the first half of the XI century, the date confirmed by the inscription of 1033. Has a typical dome hall with southern and western entrances. Adjacent to it is a gavit from the XII century. The temple is an important center of the monastery ensemble reflecting classical Armenian architectural tradition. Other buildings and khachkars are nearby.
