Sevan Botanical Garden

Sevan Botanical Garden is situated at an altitude of about 1,920–2,000 meters above sea level within the city area of Sevan. Here collections of plants typical for the vicinity of Lake Sevan as well as representatives of flora from different parts of Armenia and the world can be found. Established in 1944 as a branch of Yerevan Botanical Garden, it is a unique green space adapted to local climatic conditions. The garden features a dendrarium with trees and shrubs capable of enduring harsh regional natural conditions.
