Lake Sevan

Lake Sevan is Armenia's largest waterbody and the Caucasus region's major lake situated approximately 1,900 meters above sea level. It consists of two parts: Big and Little Sevan. 28 rivers and streams flow into it while River Razdan flows out. Its maximum depth reaches 79.4 meters, average depth is around 26.2 meters. Sevan is an important part of Armenia's natural system and a popular tourist recreation spot.
