Airavank Monastery

The Avanavank Monastery is located on a picturesque rocky cape by Lake Sevan, in the village of Ayravank. Founded in the 9th century and dedicated to Saint Stepanos. From its territory there is an excellent panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding Gegham Mountains. This is an important tourist attraction in the region, included in the routes around Lake Sevan along with other attractions such as Sevavanak and the Khachkar cemetery Noraدوز.
