Kotavank Surb Astaratsakan Church

Surb Astvatsatun Church, also known as Kotavank, is situated in Nerkin Getashen village on a hill above Argich River. Built in the late 9th century, it is an architectural monument from that era. Adjacent to it is a medieval cemetery with khachkars and ancient gravestones. The area is surrounded by natural beauty and regional historical heritage around Lake Sevan.
