Saint Hovhannes Karapet Basilica

The basilica church of Saint Ovanes Karapet is situated near the city of Gavar, Gegharkunik region. It was built in 1848 by settlers from Bayazet with involvement of brothers Barseg and Ikrat Agnnaners. This preserved structure is a monument of Armenian architecture.
