Saint Gevorg Church

Saint Gaiane Church is located in Vagharshapat city at Issy-les-Moulineaux street. It is part of UNESCO World Heritage Site and represents an early medieval Armenian architecture monument. The building has retained its original austere appearance built in 630 AD. In 1652, a porch was added to the western part of the temple. The church is associated with the name of Abbess Gaiane, a well-known Christian saint and martyr of Armenia.
