Matenadaran Vache and Tamara Manukyan

Matenadaran Vаче и Тамар Манукян — library and archive of ancient manuscripts in Vagarshapat city near Echmiadzin monastery. The building designed by architect Artak Gulyan combines modern storage technologies with traditional Armenian architectural elements. The new complex was opened on October 18, 2012. It houses over tens of thousands of valuable historical documents including theological and Armenology works.
