Matenadaran Vache and Tamara Manukyan

Matenadaran Vache and Tamara Manukyan — library and archive of ancient manuscripts in Vagharshapat city near Echmiadzin Monastery. The building designed by architect Artak Gulyan integrates modern storage technologies with traditional Armenian architectural elements. The new complex was inaugurated on October 18, 2012. It preserves more than tens of thousands of valuable historical documents including theological and Armenology works.
